See the post before your audience does
The Facebook preview renders your text with its paragraphs, emoji, hashtags and links, so you can check how the opening lines read before the See more cut-off. Switch tabs to compare the same post on LinkedIn, X and Instagram.
Bold and italic text on Facebook
Facebook personal posts and comments do not offer a bold button. PostCraft converts selected text into Unicode bold, italic, underline or monospace characters that Facebook treats as plain text, so the emphasis survives the paste on desktop and mobile.
Readable paragraphs, automatically
Long walls of text lose readers. The Facebook version of your post breaks dense paragraphs at sentence boundaries, and the readiness check flags posts that run long for the feed. Edit the result, copy it, and publish.
Frequently asked questions
How do I preview a Facebook post before posting?
Paste or write the post in PostCraft and open the Facebook tab in the preview panel. It shows the text the way it will read in the feed, including line breaks, hashtags and links.
Can you make text bold on Facebook?
Not with a built-in button in regular posts. Unicode bold characters from PostCraft paste into Facebook posts, comments and profile fields and display as bold.
Is there a character limit for Facebook posts?
Facebook allows very long posts, over 60,000 characters, but only the first few lines show before See more. Shorter posts with a strong first line usually perform better.
Does PostCraft post to Facebook for me?
No account connection is needed. PostCraft copies the formatted text, and on supported devices can open the share sheet, so you stay in control of what gets published.
